About Recovery Bladen

Bladen County health & Human Services
Recovery Bladen is the Bladen County Public Health Department’s network of community-based services and resources for the people of Bladen County. Its mission is the protection of our citizens’ health, including but not limited to the prevention and reduction of chronic diseases.

Recovery Bladen supports a Recovery Oriented System of Care to achieve better health and wellness for all. This not only opens the door to recovery, but also a variety of resources that are available to everyone in Bladen County.

Alcohol Counseling
If you or your loved one are struggling with substance use, there is hope. Recovery Bladen can connect you with prevention, screening, and treatment services.

Recovery Bladen also provides free education materials for families and individuals.

Bladen County established Recovery Bladen in 2021, in response to the rising rate of substance and opioid use disorders in the county. The County received funding through a $1 million grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP), and is a partnership with the Bladen County School System, Cape Fear Valley Bladen Hospital, RHA Behavioral Health LLC, and the Bladen County Public Health Department.
